Well after the months of preperations and waiting i´m here! I am currently sitting in an internet cafe in San Juan Dominican Republic. I left Friday morning and headed to Miami. It was a pretty lonely flight until I got to Miami and met up with my squad. We didn´t get much sleep that night mostly because we stayed up at the airport and greeted people as they came in. Yesterday we flew 2 hours into Santo Domingo and then rode in a bus for 4 hours to San Juan. The Dominican countryside is beautiful! Lush and green and mountainous. I´m definately doing some hiking here. Also they food is really good. Right now we´re in training. But I hope to write another blog soon that is longer and has picture when I have more time. I miss you all.
