This blog is about 3 weeks too late. But I figure better late then never. I’m writing this blog to plead to the Body for generosity. It has been a huge blessing to be fully funded by my first month on the race. But unfortunently there are people in our squad that still need to reach their goals. Specifically four people are in dire need. They need several thousand dollars by June 1st. I know most of you tithe 10% to your church or other organizations. But I would like to encourage you to give above that. In 2 Corinthians chapters 8 and 9. The church in Macedonia was facing tough times. Gas prices were high, camels were huge and guzzling gas, the housing market tanked, and unemployment went through the roof. But Paul wrote about despite their poverty they gave joyfully, sacrificially and regularly. And thats what I’m asking all of you to prayerfully consider. Because after all, its The Big Guys money anyway. Below you’ll find links to all of their blog pages. I ask that you would check them out and pray into who you feel lead to help out.
