We got up this morning and left in time to be at the sports palace by 9.  Today is the first day of the Passion Conference and we were all registered as volunteers.  It was a good thing too because as it turns out they were pretty low on volunteers so we stayed pretty busy.  But it was a good time running around and getting things done in a frenzy.  It was interesting to see that even when you get in the big leagues like the Passion conference they are still running around and getting things done at the last minute.
As it got closer to when the conference started I went inside and got put on crowd control.  I was pretty excited because I was concerned that becuase I was helping I wouldn´t be able to experience the conference.  I soon came to the conclusion that God was playing a nice joke on me.  Afterall back in the spring when we went to Passion Atlanta we were jerks.  Running to get good seats, sneaking in back ways, saving seats, etc…  Now the roles were very much reversed.
Despite my frustration at my job once everything got underway it was an awesome time.  Chris Tomlin came ou and lead worship and I haven´t worshipped that sincerely in a long time.  Most of the volunteers were up there with me and there were some on their knees, dancing, crying and shouting.  It was very intense.  It was also very obvious that God was there as we worshipped.
Sorry if this blog is a little small and lackluster compared to the others but it´s late and I´ve been on my feet all day.  Tomorrow is 3 sessions of Passion but I´m planning on blogging afterwards…unless I collapse when I walk in the door.  Adios.
