I just want to give you all an idea of where my heart is. I love The World Race. God is using this trip and the people at Adventures in Missions to love on orphans, preach the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ, teach english to drug addicts, and give women in prostitution a trade.
But The Lord is doing something much more deeper and dangerous through The World Race. It’s introducing young men and women to the TRUE Jesus Christ of Nazereth. Not the hippy Jesus with the sky fairy heavenly father. But to the radically loving, dangerously passionate and beastly Jesus. A generation is waking up to their identity in Christ and seeing things through a clearer lens.
And it is precisely for this reason why I have sold my life out. I have given AIM my life for a season but I have given Christ my life for keeps. Because I know it is in good hands, and because I have seen what He has been doing with the hearts in R Squad. So to all of you who love me and support me, please continue to do so. God is moving, but I can only continue to be a part of this by your generosity. After I leave the field in January I am planning on going back to the AIM office to work training camps and equip other squads to go and bring Christ to the world and themselves. So many people have supported me financially and with their words and actions and not one is more important then the other, so thank you.
The squad is getting in tomorrow for debrief. Di and I are excited and expecting God to move this week, so please keep us in your prayers.
