What do you do when God blows you away with his goodness? Get online and post about it! Recently, my youth leader approached me about possibly having a bake sale at church to help raise funds for my trip. I was on board immediately. My mom baked six cakes, a batch of brownies, and some cupcakes. Other families from the youth group were also donating their time and yummy creations. In my smallness of mind, I was envisioning maybe one table full of treats. Imagine my surprise when we got to church Sunday morning to see 4 long tables full of all kinds of baked goods and treats. So many people showed interested in what I’ll be doing next year, that I was busy almost the whole time before and after service talking with people. I was so grateful to get to know many people in our church better and to met some new faces. Everyone was so generous and sincerely interested in what I’ll be doing next year that it humbled me tremendously. I don’t know yet how much we made from the bake sale, but I know that it way surpassed the $100 I was praying for.
