Been in Malaysia about a week now, from a thirty-eight-hour bus ride. The day we cross the border of Thailand and Malaysia was my Adoption Day. It was so exciting to think back to the things God has done for me the past seven years. We celebrated it with cake. Malaysia has three groups of people: Indians, Chinese, and Malay. The top three religions are Hindu, Buddhist, and Muslim. We live on an island called Penang with two other teams. It was the first time I rode on a ferry, it was pretty cool. We are staying at YWAM (Youth With A Mission) base. For the first few days we walked around the city and visited many temples of different religions. We found out that Muslim has a lot in common with Christian, it was kind of frustrating. The Quran and the Bible are almost the same thing but switched out God with Allah. We learned Muslim and the rest of the religions follow a different law. It is illegal to hand out Bibles in Malaysia. Since we live at a touristy area it is okay to share the gospel. In Penang we have a lot of different outreach ministry.
-KAWAN Ministry (Friend)
KAWAN is a homeless shelter run by YWAM. Most of them speak English, so language barrier wasn’t a problem. We helped around and did some maintenance including installing an A/C and putting a cover over the electric fan wires.
-PenHop
We have the opportunity to have Worship twice a week. PenHop is a Church close to us, about ten minutes. It was so awesome to attend Worship there. The atmosphere of the Church felt like my home Church.
-English Class
English is a well-known language in Malaysia. Our first student was a forty-year-old real estate Muslim man. He knew that the Organization is ran by Christians, he didn’t really care. We talked about his traveling, adventure and his family. We showed Jesus through our actions because we are the walking Gospel.
-Bangladesh Ministry
We get to minister to a group of young men from Bangladesh. They used to be Muslim then trusted Jesus. Their eyes when they hear the teaching of the gospel is like kids getting presents on Christmas Morning. I can see God is moving in their life.

This past week God is teaching me I’m worthy. Seven years an ago I was an orphan in China, now I’m in Malaysia sharing the Gospel. What the Heck! God did not call smart people to be his disciples but choose those who are unqualified. Yes, Lord that’s me. God has done so many things for my life. It’s just a such blessing to serve in his Kingdom.
Look at the fundraiser bar on top of the page. If you haven’t noticed, I’m FULLY FUNDED! I want to thank you so much for your support. Thank you for being a part of my journey with God. It is all God, there is no way I could raise 15,800 dollars. Again, I want thank God and everyone’s support and prayer.
