God is crazy good! I have always known this, but then He shows up in my life in so many wonderful and unexpected ways.
Ya’ll, I am only $30 dollars away from being fully funded! That is so crazy! When I signed up for this trip, I jumped in with both feet. I said yes to God and whatever He had in store for me. Then I saw the amount I needed to raise to do an 11 month mission trip…….
I remember talking to God and it basically went like this, “God you are a miracle worker. I know this. You perform miracles every day. If I manage to raise this money it will be a miracle, so I’m honestly asking for one because I know You are more than capable.”
Here I stand, er, sit, in a very delightful coffee shop in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, so excited to tell you how good God is. He always is, but here is one specific way I get to brag about my God. He called me out of of my comfort zone to countries some of which I knew nothing about, and never even thought of visiting. He has been with me since step one. He helped me to reach out to ya’ll, strengthen bridges of friendships I was afraid I had burned, and revealed Himself in new and surprising ways. To top it all off He has provided all I could ever need. Stepping out into the unknown with Jesus with my whole life is the greatest adventure I have ever been on. And the best part, I get to do this for the rest of my life! I pray you each have the chance to do the same and that you take that chance. If there is anything I have learned lately is that God encourages us to dream and dream big.
