For those who may not know Indonesia is one of the eleven different countries that I will be traveling to next year during my journey on the world race. God is preparing myself and the team for all of the countries we will be traveling to during the upcoming year. I ask for your prayers for all the countries we are traveling to, but please say a special prayer for Indonesia.
About one month after the devastating earthquakes hit the island of Lombok and killed nearly 500 people, disaster has now struck at coastal cities and villages in Central Sulawesi. On Friday September 28, 2018, a big 7.5-magnitude earthquake (followed by numerous aftershocks) triggered a massive tsunami that hit at least two cities: provincial capital Palu and Donggala. Over 1,200 people have already been pronounced dead. Others are still trapped in the rubble.
Please be in prayer for the families, friends, disaster relief crews, first respondents, and our team as we go, prepare, and help within the upcoming days, months, and year.
