Go on this adventure with me that the Lord is taking me on. The Lord is leading me to be a light for him, to bring people to a place where they can encounter Jesus.

“When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” -John 8:12

Jesus is after people’s hearts. He wants a relationship with everyone who chooses him. I am going to declare the gospel around the world to the nations. It’s the truth that sets people free. I am after people’s hearts because that is all that matters. Everything else fades away. Jesus love overrides everything else in the world, every dark place or thing can’t hide in the light. My job is to obey the Lord and bring God’s light and love to the people that are in the world.

1 Samuel 6:7- “But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look atPeople look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.””

John 8:32-“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

There is so much brokenness and sin in the world. I’ve only seen a glimpse of the sin that entangles the world and its ripple affects on God’s beloved creation, people. When I go on the World Race and even preparing for the World Race God is gently exposing me to the darkness of the world but He says fear not because I have overcome the world. God’s light will shine is darkness because darkness to him is light. God gives me hope for this broken world. His hope and love is what I’m bringing to the nations.

This means that I need to let God’s light infiltrate my innermost being until it starts to shine through. Sometimes its hard to let God in and let go of things/wants. It’s hard getting rid of your old mind set. It takes work, letting God work in you to empty yourself of you and being filled with him. Sometimes it is harder than others but in the end it is worth it. Its worth being a light for Jesus because you start to see the impact you have on people by letting God flow out of you. God won’t flow out of you unless you let him take over and consume you until there is no you (pride) left in you. I am on this journey of letting God consume every part of me. God is pruning me and it hurts a lot but sometimes I get glimpses of God’s power and how he is using this pruning time to establish me for his kingdom.

Will you let God consume you? Will you be a light right where you are so God can use you in other places? Are you fighting the pruning process?

Go on this Journey with me through this process that is necessary to build your character, so you can stand the test when the winds come.
