Hello Friends and Family,
I haven’t been posting a lot of blogs recently. I have been at a writers block recently. I want to share an update of what I have been doing and what is currently happening.
This last month my team and I was in Chaing Mai, Thailand. We did Ministry at Nikki’s Place-Agape Home. It’s where kids who have HIV/AIDs have a place and home to live at. It’s an amazing place that celebrates life and God’s joy through the children that are there. There smiles just light up this place.
My team helped with sanding and painting stairs and furniture. We helped do little projects they needed us to do that they haven’t gotten to for a while. We also played with the kids ages from 6 months to 18 years old. I was mostly with the babies. I haven’t had much experience with babies. I have had a lot of experience with elementary kids and high school kids. So it was different at first but I ended up loving being with the babies. They are so trusting and just fling their selves at people. By the end of the time at Agape Home, I felt peace when I was around the babies and they filled me up when I needed joy. The Lord used them in that way and I think it is interesting but beautiful.
Friday was our last day at Agape. I will miss this place and what Hod showed me their.
On Monday our squad is traveling to Africa. We have ended out time in Asia. It’s been rough for me personally but there are awesome memories and moments I will never forget. There are people that have made an impact on me and that I will never forget as well. I hope I have made some kind of impact on the people as well. I hope that the Lord used me as a vessel even through all that was happening.
Please be praying for safe travels to Africa for our squad. My team and another team will be going to Botswana, working with Youth For Christ. We will be teaching and having Bible studies with the youth there.
