The country I am in is Panama. My team is at the YWAM base for 3 weeks, 20 minutes from David( a City in Panama).
We have been teaching English to the locals and doing bible study with them! There is more ministry for us later on but that is what we have been doing the past couple days.
Wednesday’s are our adventure day and Sundays are our Sabbath day. Well on our first adventure day we chose to go on a hike with a local to a river in the mountains. When I was getting ready, I was in a room with my squad leader Amanda. She just said out of no where, “Tiffany, I love you.” I automatically replied, “why?” I didn’t even think about what I was saying but it was an automatic response. She said, “Do I have to have a reason?” I replied, “I guess you don’t, I love you to.” It caught me off guard.
On the whole time hike, the Lord showed me that is how he feels about me. He kept on repeating, “I Love You!” He told me, “there doesn’t have to be a reason but to just receive it.” It was a sweet reminder that I don’t have to work or perform or try or do anything to earn or get ABBA Fathers love.
I get to do life with him. I get to do what ever he puts in front of me with him. I get to abide and be in his love at all times! What a beautiful gift God has given to his children. We get to choose if we want to receive and walk in his love but it is freely given!
It’s so simple. Why do we complicate it?
Come to me as a child does, God says.
It’s simple!
