Hi wonderful Supporters,
I want to start by sharing the experiences that the Lord has been doing in my life these past 2 months. God truly made each encounter that I had with him so Divine.
The beginning of this year I realized that I wanted to further my growth with the lord by applying to a summer internship held by my church. This marked the beginning, I’m eager to pick out a few of the stories that God has laid on my heart to share with you.
The interns took a trip down to South Florida one weekend to give all the volunteers rest at the Greenhouse Church in South Florida. Such beautiful souls they were, opening up their homes and treating us like family. All the conversations shared were so beneficial to my growth in the Lord. It’s hard to describe the joy that my soul leapt with as I watched a fellow intern give her life to the Lord, while we were at the beach, she got baptized in the ocean and all I could imagine was that God was dancing in the heavens seeing his beautiful daughter get baptized in the marvelous oceans that he created.
God’s glory continues on through the next day, I met a girl and the feeling I had in my soul was the Holy Spirit it was like a burst of excitement and urgency to talk to her and sit with her at church. As she received her first bible and flipped through the pages you could just see her radiating with light, as if she finally found all that she was searching for. Her vulnerability was so precious. I’m so excited to see where and what God does with her. She is so precious in His sight, I love her and to think just HOW much more God LOVES her…

Now, the next weekend after visiting South Florida we went on a spiritual retreat with the Lord to St. Augustine. This was a weekend I’ll never forget. God moved into my soul in ways I never thought possible. How cool is it that God listens to every prayer, no matter how big or small. Lord I pray that you keep this as a vivid display in my mind forever. God how small I am compared to you, thank you for being so faithful and never changing even when I do you still take the time to steer me back in the right direction. As I was walking on the beach that morning, I got discouraged with the fundraising for this missions trip.
I started to pray and to ask God for comfort and to know that he is here right beside me helping me along the way and that he makes this known to me by allowing me to find a shark tooth and/or sea glass. A couple of minutes later in plain sight was a green sea glass, I was amazed. Then, I took two more steps and right in front of me was a huge shark tooth! I was delighted with so much joy, peace, and comfort to know that God is here beside me helping me with every step of the way during this fundraising process and not to worry or stress out about it. Thank you Lord for your presence.
