Hello all my faithful supporters!
I have been back in the States from the World Race since last August and incredible things have taken place here in my city. Revival is sweeping across the state of FL and people are being moved into a deeper relationship with the Father. Teams are being sent out into neighborhoods that have been trained, equipped, and commissioned to share the Gospel and make disciples.

January of 2015, God put it on my heart to be a part of the World Race and be a part of the Greenhouse Church Internship. I thought to myself how will that work…which ONE do I choose God? Much to my surprise He made it very clear that the Greenhouse Internship was a “Not now” for 2015. So He led me into the World Race for 2015-2016. Since returning home, the call for this internship through my church was deeply stirred for 2017-2018.
“It’s not enough to be good; we need to be wise. It’s not enough to seek God; we need to mobilize people to seek God. It’s not enough to do the works of the ministry; we need to equip the saints to do the work of ministry. This requires leadership.” – Greenhouse
Now I would like to joyfully share with you an amazing opportunity I have to intern at Greenhouse church in Gainesville, FL for eleven months! This internship begins in August 2017 and will continue through June 2018. I will have the opportunity to experience personal and spiritual growth, practice ministry and leadership training, authentic community and self-discovery.
During the internship half the time will be spent on personal spiritual growth. I will take theological courses, receive teachings from staff members, and read various books on spirituality, discipleship, and leadership. The other half will be spent working in practical ministry. I will be a MISSIONS intern. 😀 As a Missions intern, I will be exposed to cultures, religions, and required to engage in readings and discussions related to local and international missions. I will help with projects to enlighten the church body on needs around the world and will actively participate in weekly local outreach in the form of mentoring, tutoring, and attending/doing Kid’s Church in low income neighborhoods. My heart’s desire is to help train and equip others to be on mission and make Disciples around the world.

I will be raising support in order to do this internship (through Greenhouse website…donations will not be raised through this World Race blog). I can’t wait to be in touch. I would love to share this vision and calling in more detail. I am praying for a support group who will partner financially and/or prayerfully. When the son of God visited earth, He cried out with a broken heart: “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.” (Matthew 9:37) We sometimes perceive people as spiritually unresponsive, but this verse claims just the opposite. They are lost and in desperate need of the truth. The solution is more workers: Individuals who will take personal responsibility reaping this vast harvest and complete the task of world evangelism. – Steve Shadrach
