Close your eyes an imagine this. You’re sitting in the middle of the
country-side, surrounded by lush farmlands. As far as you can see in every direction is the beauty of God’s
creation. Lush green fields of sugar cane,
beans, and potatoes a family’s earnest living. You look out over your cup of fresh coffee; you are sitting at the
foothills of the most beautiful mountains. Today the sky is the perfect shade of blue, the warm sunshine on your
skin. The laughter of children playing
fills the air. Fellowship surrounds
you. Joy consumes your heart.
You now know true beauty. In
this moment God has revealed His heart to you.
And you are captivated.
My skin feels sticky today from the warmth of the sunshine. It feels the same it does when you have spent
the day at the beach. My hair dirty and wind-blown, my skin sun kissed from the sunshine. My heart is renewed. My soul left aching for more.
I now sit on my front balcony watching the sun set over the big bold mountain;
she is standing there with all her beauty. And as the sun slips down behind the mountain, and the trees are left
dancing in the wind, I hear His whisper. “You are worthy, you are loved daughter.”
Today I danced with Jesus.
Today He captivated my heart.
