It’s almost been a week since I’ve been in the Philippines
and it’s been amazing. I arrived here last Tuesday morning super jet lagged and
exhausted, but really excited to see how God is going to use me this month. This
past week has been full of getting used to a different culture and environment.
In Manila, the time difference from Cali  is 15 hrs ahead, so it was a hard adjustment at first. Surprisingly, pretty much
every Filipino I’ve encountered has spoken a little bit of English, which has
made it easier to get into the culture. I love the country so far and can’t
wait to update you on more specifics. Here is a pic of one of the modes of transportation here, called a trike:

As far as ministry goes….My team is getting prepared to
leave this next week at 4am on Sept 20th to an island called General
Santos. Here, the seven of us will be partnering with a local ministry called
International Care Ministries. We’re having a briefing later today about the
details of the specific ministry we will be doing for the month and I will
update you guys as soon as I find out. Please continue to pray for me and my
team. That we become more unified and that we just go out in boldness this
month.

On another note, thank you so much to those who have already
blessed me by supporting me this year. However, I am still in need of about
$5,000 in support as I am not yet fully funded. If you feel led to give, please
click on the “Support my journey” tab.  God Bless!
