Another month has come and gone. I will be home in less than five months. I realize it’s been another month where blogs were scant, so here’s a snippet of who He has shown Himself to be this month.

It’s been another month of God rocking me to my core. The ways He has revealed Himself to me this month are indescribable, intimate, and woah revelatory.

Freedom.
Freedom.
Freedom.
Freedom.

All month I have been unable to shake this word. It hangs from the edge of every thought, it clings to the tip of my tongue, it explodes in every prayer, and it hovers in the air throughout worship and intercession.
Forming relationships with prostitutes all month in a dark, depraved area has made me truly understand our Daddy’s heart for our freedom. He died on the cross so we would be FREE to know Him, to seek Him, to know His heart for us. He died so we would be FREE in His kingdom. He longs so much for us to know His heart for us, to know who He made us to be, to believe we are who He says we are. I absolutely know that He never designed a single one of His sons or daughters to sell their bodies for financial provision.
Far from it.
He loves these men and women so much that He sends warriors night after night to RING in their freedom on the streets of Patong.

…and let me just say that FREEDOM IS FLOODING Bangla Road.

The first night we were interceding for our teams, our contact reminded us to always clothe ourselves with the Armor of God (Ephesians 6) so that we would be ready for the flaming arrows of the enemy (v. 16). Soon after, the Lord gave me this vision of Bangla Road COMPLETELY under water–the whole street was covered by the depths of his grace. And every arrow the enemy tried to fire was extinguished by His floods of grace long before they could even reach a single person in the bars.

His grace is INFINITE. There is nothing NOTHING we can do that His grace won’t cover.
Nothing.

His grace is thick. It’s heavy. It’s an ocean with blue horizon in every direction and unknowable depths. The brokenness and sin that pervades this place are only a speck of sand when held up to the power of the cross. He is REDEEMING every last inch of this city and its people.
