What am I doing this month?
Well, I am on a NEW team:
Leader – Brant

He's pretty laid back and loves an adventure. He is from everywhere, USA and he made jet engines before coming on the World Race. He liked that a lot of guys in central america had rattail/mohawk type haircuts so he set the trend with the guys on our team to sport them for the rest of the race.
Jessica

She's our girly tomboy. With a ton of similarities to me, I'm lucky to have someone who 'gets' the traits I have that seem strange to others. She comes from the far Northwest with an open ear and an understanding to life so much so that nothing shocks her. Back in the USA, she was a big shot hairdresser and personal trainer.
James

This guy likes all things surfing and even spent some time working at Ron Jon's back in Florida. He has a pretty quiet spirit to him, but once you get him talking you'll be laughing for days. I can't quite figure out his style since he has the '70 'stach, the hipster rattail, and the "surfing" tanktop with cut off shorts. He may originally be from Florida, but he sure does bring the west side to the group.
Anton

He sure is a firecracker and will keep you on your toes. He brings reason and logic to every topic. He is super smart and can have something to say in almost any conversation. He is very intential with every relationship he has. Being from Wisconsin, he relates to the country life we sometimes live out here.
Katie

This young lady is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. She always has a smile on her face and a laugh in her heart. She grew up close to Seattle WA on a dairy farm! Watch out boys: she can probably ride tractors and four wheelers in circles around you.
Laura

She has nothing in common with Robin from How I Met Your Mother except that she is from Canada. Her English is probably better than anyone I know and I love hearing her read or tell a story. I think she has the best hair ever even though I've never told her. She also has such a sweet voice that when she talks that you never expect her to be the funniest person ever. And she is an instagram queen.
So that's my team, onto my ministry:
We are in a little village that I don't know the name of, but I do know that it is about 2 hours away from Phenom Phen and I don't know in which direction (I just get in the van and ride).
Our contact, Wothy, used to drive tuk tuk's in Phenom Phen before coming to Christ after meeting some YWAMers. He went to DTS (dicipleship training school) and eventually went back to his home village to start teaching English and Jesus to the children there.
We each have 4 classes a day starting at 8am and not stopping until 6:30pm! Its so much fun sharing Bible stories (we are going through the life of Moses), singing VBS songs, memorizing scripture with the youth, and correcting the pronouciation of "fish" and "desk".
Next month, we head to Kenya where hopefully I'll get to be reunited with my mom briefly at the end of the month. (Can we say she may bring me some homemade chocolate chip cookies and brownies?!) Please continue to keep us all in your prayers and thank you for your support!
