Nothing can separate you from the infinite LOVE of the Father. This is something that God has been making more real to me each day on the race. HE LOVES ME. It's crazy how that phrase is so common we pass it by with our eyes and never let it sink in. Stop. Read it again. Let that assurance trickle through your mind and into your heart today. The Bible says not even death can separate us from His love. How incredibly powerful a love could be that not even the grave can severe the tie. Honestly, our minds never can fully make sense of this intense love, but oh how He wants to make it real to you. He died to make it real to you. Most people in life have some feelings of being unloved. Most of us even have fears of be unloved or unaccepted. There are people that go from relationship to relationship because they fear being alone or are scared no one will ever love them.
Most of us cannot even fathom a love that requires nothing in return. A Holy God who wants to love me without any strings attached. A God who in Isaiah said "I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; you are ever before me." Stop. Reread that. Look at your hands. He is ever reminded of YOU. He is constantly THINKING of you. He never stops loving you.
"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor ANY powers, neither height no depth, nor ANYTHING else in all creation, will be able to SEPARATE YOU from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." –Romans 8:38-39
Whether you have read that verse 100 times or if it is your first time. Stop. Let that sink in. Nothing you have done in your past, might be doing in your present or will do in your future can cut the line of love that God has for you. You don't have to strive for it, just receive it right now. It's yours. He died to give it to you. Think about that. If someone you knew in this life gave up their life to give you something, you would cherish it and treasure it always. Hold dear the love Christ died to give you. It's real. Nothing in this life can even compare to it. Even the person you love most in this world cannot even come close to the love Jesus has for you.
This simple truth is becoming more and more real to me and I hope you can feel His love for you in reading this. I pray your eyes are opened to this reality. It honestly changes everything you think, see, feel and do.
