Alrighty people. I know you have been waiting to hear where I will be leading a trip to this fall and here it is!
PERU
Yes, I will be leading a group of 8 girls to Nauta, in the jungle of Peru, right on the Amazon river. We will be building relationships through personal strengths, involvement in local church and local ministries such as: soccer, orphanage, schools, street evangelism, village and river ministry. We will be living in a village right on the river and building close-knit relationships with the local people.
I am BEYOND excited! I cannot wait to experience God in a fresh and new way as I extend His love to the Peruvian people. I am honored to be able to lead these girls and watch God turn their worlds upside down in the best ways. I am most excited for what they will teach me. I pray that they will be able to testify to the transforming power Christ can have in their lives as they open their hearts to Him.
Honestly, loving and serving others can teach you more about God and yourself than a million books. I am looking forward to being His hands and feet again in a new nation. I am grateful for this opportunity and do not take it for granted. Being on the field is a high privilege and I promise to make the most of it and love my heart out all over again.
I want to thank you again for staying involved in my life. It means the world to me to have such wonderful people behind me. You will never know how much it strengthens me to keep running this race and giving it my all. Thanks for loving me so much and trusting me to carry Him all over the globe. We are a team and don’t forget that together we are bringing His kingdom to earth.
