About me…it's hard to describe yourself through a blog, but I will do my best.
My name, as I'm sure you have figured out by now, is Tiffany. I am really passionate about life. I really enjoy the little things in life. Most things that people probably don't care about, I find quite awesome. I love people. I was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, so I am a cajun cooking, southern belle at heart, and obviously a Tiger. 🙂 I traveled alot as a child, so it is in my nature to the core. I have lived in nearly 20 different states throughout my little life so far. I love to see new places and meet new people.
Missions has been a part of my life from the get-go. My parents are radical, Christ followers who have lived out the gospel in front of me my entire life. At a young age I can remember them housing people who needed a place to stay, giving money to stranger, buying groceries from families that didn't have any and more. I am blessed to have been raised in this kind of love, God-centered environment. It wasn't long before their generosity, passion for the Lord and love for people began to become part of my character. And it is that passion that has led my life up to this point.
I've been honored to have been able to serve the Lord in several different countries the past few years. Mexico, Canada, Philippines, Venezuela, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Haiti. To say I am excited about the World Race would be the greatest of understatements. I have wanted to go on the race for years and to finally be able to do so is overwhelming. I'm honored to be able to share the love of Christ with so many people in so many different places.
Other than missions, I do have many other hobbies. I love to run. In the fall, 2012, I completed the Chicago Marathon (26.2 Miles). It was a huge accomplishment for me. I love to paint and do anything creative usually. I love music. I play piano and I sing. I love my family and spending time with people. I love skittles and the color pink. I love funny movies and I'm a sucker for a good chick flick. I love to cook! I love being on the water.
This is me in a nutshell. There is more I am sure, but enough for now. 🙂
Make Today Count,
Tiffany
