Hi there!
I’m Tiffani McCormick, and I’m so excited to share a piece of my journey with you!
For some background, I have two awesome younger sisters, Kenzi and Brigette, and two awesome parents, Candy and Scott. I’m a Midwest girl through and through. I grew up in southern Illinois in the small, beautiful village of Shiloh, right outside Scott Air Force Base and St. Louis.
I moved to Indiana for college and studied Accounting, Entrepreneurship, and Irish studies at the University of Notre Dame. Go Irish (in every sense of the word)! It was during my time spent in deep, rich community there that God taught me how to value relationships over achievements (a lesson I am still learning every day).
I graduated in 2017 and have spent my first two years outside of college with an awesome group of people through Orr Fellowship, an Indianapolis program working to develop the next generation of business leaders and entrepreneurs. I have come to love Indy and its people more than I ever imagined!
I love camping always, running sometimes, and chai lattes more than coffee. I enjoy a good game of Ultimate Frisbee and think candy corn should be eaten year-round.
I believe everyone should know their incredible worth and value that comes from being made in God’s image, and I think we should all give more smiles to those around us.
I am touched by God’s heart for all of us, especially for those who are often looked over by society. He calls us not to fear, but to simply follow Him. Every day I am learning that life is not about what I can do-it’s about what God has done for me, and how He is inviting me to join Him in His work. I am grateful for His love, and for His call to spend eleven months partnering with Him through the World Race.
Starting next June, I will follow Him to serve in Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Morocco, Ethiopia, Djibouti, India, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, and Indonesia!
