This is how it works. The squad is 30 people… all of us; we travel to each country together. Then, we’re split up into teams… my team has 6 people. For the first month of the World Race our squad will be in Colombia! A few teams will be going to Medellin, others will be in Cartagena, and my team will be on … the island of San Andres, Colombia!
Our team name is Team Salty.
The day we were split up into the groups that would become our teams, our squad leader, Destiny, comes over and shares a quote with us… we’ve all heard the saying, “You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink” and then she said, “There’s a last part to that quote… ‘but you can salt the oats’.”
Perfect. We are going to make people thirsty. We are going to #saltsohard. We are the salt of the earth. Team Salty.
