That's Right…
It's happened….
Team changes have occured….
At the beginning of last month, I posted a blog on how Sidney Ann had been moved to a new team as a team leader. Well, team changes have happened again. First let me explain a little.
Nothing happened…. per say
It's not that people didn't get along
It's not that unacceptable things were occuring
TEAM CHANGES ARE NECESSARY AND GOOD……
That's right…. I said team changes are good.
At the end of month 3, our squad leaders raise up new squad leaders from among us to lead us for the rest of our 11 months. When month 4 debreif rolls around, we will be bidding adeiu to our current squad leaders. When this happens, there simply must be changes. Sidney Ann (that's right, folks), Micah, and Michael will be taking on the role of squad leaders. That leaves us without 3 previous team leaders……
For me this means…
I will now be leading a completey new team. We have taken the name Cypress as a representation of who we are and who we want to be. The cypress tree has very deep roots and is renouned for standing strong in the midst of great storms (hurricanes). It also finds Christian meaning by representing a death of worldly things and the ushering in of the heavenly kingdom.
Without further adeu…….
Team Cypress

On a different note…. what are we doing in Romania????
We are living by ourselves in a small village called Stejeris just outside of Targu Mures in
Transylvania. That's right, we live by Dracula. While we are in Romania, our village is mostly Hungarian considering this territory used to be part of the Austrian- Hungarian Empire.
Most days, we travel to one of the nearby villages to visit with and pray over the gypsy families. They are a beautiful people who are tragically caught in the middle of social steriotypes and cultural predjudices. Zsombor, our contact, often prays for unity among the peoples on Romania
Please be in prayer for words to say and to have God's eyes and heart for these people.
