Love is color blind.
God is love.
Therefore God is color blind, right?
WRONG!
I think that God sees in color.
BRILLIANT COLOR
I think that God sees in the brilliance of the sunset.
Psalm 148:3 "Praise him, sun and moon,
praise him, all you shining stars!
I think that God sees in the shining white of beautiful smiles.
He sees in the many colors shining through in the colors of his children's hair.
Luke 12:7 "even the hairs of your head are all numbered."
I think that God sees the bright and shining colors that make up the dress of so many different cultures.
I think creation bursts forth with color for his enjoyment.
I think that God was not lacking in creative juices when he painted the skies and shells of the crabs. He was not bored when he put together the platapus and he was not bored when he created mankind.
Here is Romania, the Romanians don't always like the Hungarians. The Hungarians don't always like the Romanians. Neither the Hungarians nor the Romanians like the Gypsies.
I have been trying for weeks, and possibly most of my life, to see people without color. I like to think that America has done a pretty good job of ignoring the differences found in color. Maybe this is true. Maybe its not. Maybe its competely circumstantial.
However, I had never before had the pleasure of true appreciating color. With color comes differences.
But these differences are unique and overwhelmingly beautiful.
They should be encouraged.
They should bring a smile and a laugh as we delight in our differences.
The world is beautiful.
See it in color!
