1. Most Africans cant figure out the difference between 'r' and 'l' so they use them interchangably.
2. I am not cut out for teaching. This is why I was a youth ministries major.
3. Did you know there are giant slugs? I do. A 5 inch slug was often my night companion in the squatty.
4. It's about this point in the race that I started to daydream about my clothes at home and I felt really pathetic.
5. We learned to say Jaculia or "I will eat you" in Lugandan and would run at the children saying this. Hysterical!
6. Kenzie has an alter-ego that emerges while she is sleeping named Penzie McCage. This month was very active and particularly obsessed with the time.
7. I was asked to preach this month and then asked to return and preach again. The only stipulation was that I must preach for an hour as my first message was too short. God is crazy good!
8. I got to spend a week in Kenya with mom which was amazing and I learned that my parents are excited for my return even if I come back considerably different than I left. I need not worry that parents will think that I am strange.
9. That crazy God dream you have… Do it. God is on your side. There are people everywhere living out these dreams.
10. You should always try to maintain your fitness level. Letting it slip and trying to rebuild is sooo much harder.
11. Humility is a hard lesson to learn but it is worth the struggle. Let people help you on your way. You need them in order to properly learn this lesson.
