The compassion that I am able to extend to other people is a gift from the Lord. He created me to be an empathetic and compassionate person, and the compassion that he extends to me every single day is unable to ever be repaid.
God your wisdom is incomprehensible, you are the source of all wisdom. I pray that I would be able to receive even a fraction of that wisdom.
The Lord has recently called me into a season of discipline. I used to get a bad taste in my mouth at the word discipline, but being disciplined by God is such a privilege.
“For the Lord disciplines the one he loves” -Hebrews 12:6
I know God’s love is true because of the discipline he gives me
I pray to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord. Our God is the creator of all things beautiful. I value the beauty in this corrupt world. The beauty in other people. Beauty that stands out above all else and demands to be seen.
Although complex, the Lord wants us to have a simple faith. He wants us to stop guessing. Simplicity is a hard word to live by, but the Lord asks us to live simply and give up everything to follow him.
My top 5 core values. I desire growth in all of these things and i’m eager to see what the Lord is going to teach me through each of these.
