This month I have learned alot. I have been wrestling for days on what to say, how to make my first post sound profound, and how to exactly explain what we are doing with this time, and with the resources given.

But its not about profound posts, amazing stories, good times, or incredible views. Although those are some of the benefits of doing this kind of work.

Its about relationship.

Seriously, my first month, this entire race, the work we are doing, its about relationship. It is not about me, what I am doing, or hoping to do. Its about the importance of relationship. Relationship with the Father.

^^^^^^That’s what I am doing this month. I am running around the streets, of a North African nation, offering a relationship with the Father. Is it legal here? Not in the slightest, but it is highly effective. Everyday my team and I hit the streets with nothing more to offer than the kingdom. plain and simple. We are using Luke 10 as our platform and go around meeting anyone the Lord would lead us to, we bless those who would receive us in Jesus name, offer healing to the sick, we even say peace be upon this house when we are invited into a home, and are very open about being a true believer in Jesus. We simply enter into a friendship to those who want it. Fully knowing we are a true believer of Jesus.

Its amazing too, they are so curious to know more about Jesus, and are very welcoming to talk about religion, politics, and life. The people here are incredibly hospitable, and just love to learn what being a Christian is all about!

They are happily shocked, and incredibly thirsty when we explain that it is about a relationship with the Father. That Jesus came not to bring new religion, but to offer a full restoration of relationship with the father, by removing the obstacle that is sin. We plainly present the g0spel( i.e the good news), we jump into scripture with them, and set the truth plainly before them. We simply love them by offering the thing that is most valuable to us! Relationship with the creator of all!

As one of our legendary teachers from training would say “ITS A LOVE STORY”. Don’t you get it! G0d wants his children back! back into relationship with him, as we were intended, and created for like Adam! We were made to be loved, and be in relation to an incredible, perfect Father! So let’s grab that, and offer that good news to everyone were in RELATION to.

You can’t offer what you don’t have. Which is why when I was training for this journey it did not involve just, safety training. 80% of our training was ensuring, and helping us get closer, and more reliant on the Father. Because we cannot offer what we do not have!

Furthermore, we cannot offer that to someone if we have no relationship with them! This is why truly I say this whole journey will be about relationship, and that’s why this post is called the importance of relationship! Because we can’t shove the g0spel down peoples throats, but we need to be in relationship with them, based on trust, and truth, which is why we are open, from the start about who we are!

This is also strengthening my relationship with the Father! Truly, running around depending on G0d to bring someone along who will fill our needs in a nation that speaks very little English is fun! Yes fun, because he always does it, and he always blows my mind by how he does it!

Since I left home, there have been days where we have had no idea where we will sleep that night, 22 people, would enter into a town, sometimes that never spoke English, and every one of us would have a place to rest our heads before nightfall.

You do not have much if any say with someone you are not in relationship with, whether that’s friends, family, or a stranger on the street. This first month I have been learning how to come into relationship with strangers, while sharing the GOOD NEWS should they want to hear it. Their receptiveness, eagerness, and hunger amazes, and challenges me! I am incredibly blessed to see the love of the Father change many lives, and to be able to support something so great, where it may not be legal, but is still changing lives both above ground, and under ground.

Thank you so much for blessing and supporting me in this! It is having a profound impact on my life.
