This is something that has been pressing into my heart more and more lately. And one that I cant stand to ignore. That the time is now. Not later. So many times have I stopped myself or waited till the last minute to do anything. (i.e. blogging..) For reasons including and not limited to my own laziness, fear, doubt, worry, inadequacy, and pride. I find myself constantly arguing with myself, justifying, reasoning, and ultimately compromising every action I did or didn't do. And I realize that it has gotten me nowhere but has left me more lost, confused, miserable, depressed, and unfufilled than ever. Even as I write this I struggle with those things and I have to remind myself that our God is greater. That those are all lies. That in our weakness He is stronger. That He calls us to something bigger than ourselves. That we are made for more. And nothing can seperate us from His love. A perfect love that drives out all fear. One that calls us into His own. His family. That we are not alone. That we never are. Never will He leave us or forsake us. That He made us in His image and that we are not our own. That He created us for a purpose and reason. That we are His workmanship. And that He works for the good of those who believe in Him. That He is greater. I want to believe it. I do believe it. And I will declare it now. In the name of His Son Jesus Christ. For His kingdom come. That the time is now. Not later. To let go and let God. What's holding us back after knowing all this? What is keeping us from living the full life He has promised us. The mission He entrusted us. That we are all called in some way, some shape or form, all unqiuely made in Him. Though our paths may differ and though it may not look the same. It's all for His glory. What has He called you to do? Right now in this moment, at this time. How will you react? How will you respond in the next five minutes. It makes a difference. You can make a difference. You can make a change. You can choose Him. Life. You can believe in His word. His truth. He will use You. He already is! You are His. Surrender. Give it to Him. All we are called to do is to obey and to be ourselves. Just the way He made us. And that is so beautifully. Complete in Him. Do not be afraid. Stand. Praise. Pray. Embrace it. He loves you. Oh how He loves us.
