This week we have worked at the building site digging holes moving soil and
laying bricks. We've done home visits and gotten to pray for
individuals, we've had the chance to work with children and teach them
English, and we have had the opportunity to be a part of God's kingdom in
Malaysia!

My first meal in Malaysia was a whole fish, some beef, a kidney of some animal just not sure which one, and all that piled on some rice.  The kidney was a little chalky and it took time to get past all the small bones in the fish, but other then that it was great and quite enjoyable.  I do know my sister SA would not have liked it and hopefully i get a gag out of her when she sees the picture 🙂

We have a path that leads from our hostel to the internet cafe where we go for great cheap frozen drinks and of course wifi.  Danny and I were walking this path one of the first days in Malaysia and decided to be a little adventurous and go off and see what we could find.  Immediately upon stepping out we began to smell a foul odor that got strong and stronger as we pressed on.  We end up at the corpse of a cow!  And it just wouldnt be us to walk right by so we got pictures with it.

Most every morning we have gone to the patch of land that the pastor has aquired at 7 am to level out piles of soil and make concrete for the driveway.  It was fun and tiring and nobody backed down – even the women stepped up and took to the hoe as you see with Cindi Williams bellow.

So far this experience as been amazing and it has tested me as a leader.  My team, team Braveheart, has strong and independent personalities and together we have accomplished so much more then separate.  I am grateful and blessed to have such a team and to be doing Kingdom work all at the same time.
