Our ministry for the rest of the month will be with Indian Christian Ministries and Sarah’s Covenant Home.
ICM is an organization that is focused on planting a church in every village in India. They go out and do all of the ground work, and then train those who want to be worship leaders or preachers. I believe they’ve planted over 2000 churches so far, and are still going out looking to plant more. We will hopefully be able to spend some time going to some of these villages and evangelize to them, in addition to doing some clerical and construction work. The thing that I’m probably most excited about though, is a video they need shot and produced. I feel like part of the reason God has brought me here is to capture what’s actually happening here for everyone back at home, and that’s exactly what this project will do.
I actually did this kind of backwards because we will be spending this first week at SCH. We will be working with orphans that have disabilities and trying to improve their living areas. To learn more about SCH, or to see more about what we will be doing, check out my blog called, “Stepping Out of My Comfort Zone.”
I look forward to sharing this journey with you, and I will try to keep everyone up to date with how this month is going.
