I have noticed that India doesn’t meet the same standards of cleanliness as the United States. This doesn’t mean that everything in India is filthy, as a matter of fact our living quarters aren’t, but overall India just seems dirty. One simple example of this is when we were eating our first meal in an Indian restaurant, at least one rat ran past us and nobody seemed to even notice. It made our meal really interesting.
