As you all know Tom and I needed an extra $500 by the end of October to continue on the race, well we recieved even more than the $500. Over an 8 day period we recieved $836! Praise God, he is so good! So thank you to all of you who gave, may God richly bless you! We only have $6,200 left to raise for the entire trip. The deadline is December 15th, and we are excited to see how God provides. Thank you agian!

Over the last three days my team has witnessed a lot. There was a storm that hit Kampala and caused a tremendous amount of flooding. The church we are ministering at had its roof torn back and the fences all around fell to the ground. One child drowned during the flood. Homes and businesses were under 2 feet of water or more. We came home to find that during the night someone abondoned 2 children at our guest house. On the way back from dropping us off our contact’s took a matatou home and fately hit someone. One of our team members had food poisioning. Finally today as we were doing door to door ministry I got spiritually attacked. Though the last few days have been a whirl wind we still know our God is faithful! He is our provider, protector, and our strength. Even though we may not always know the reason for why things happen, we know God is in control and he uses all situations and obsticals to glorify his name.

One thing I do know is that over the past 3 days I have felt more alive and excited about ministry and the Lord than I have so far in Uganda. What the enemy means for evil the Lord uses it for his good.
