What is the World Race?
The World Race is a Christian mission trip that travels to 11 countries in 11 months. Participants live out of a backpack, survive on a limited budget, and find themselves in situations where faith is the only reality to choose from. In partnering with existing missionaries and ministries, World Racers develop relationships with the “least of these, and through acts of service see communities and nations transformed all over the world.
The World Race is a part of Adventures In Missions, a not for profit organization based out of Georgia that sends missions teams throughout the US and abroad.

What am I going to be doing?
My team and I will be working with already established organizations in each country. Our future jobs include everything from teaching English at schools to working at hospitals and orphanages to vacation Bible schools to sports camps to rescuing people from the sex trafficking industry to building/construction projects. you name it, we’re game for it 🙂
Magnets: I’ve given out magnets with my picture and information at different presentations. They ask for prayer from September 2010 – December 2011. While I get back from the race at the end of July 2011, I asked for prayer through December because I don’t know yet what I will be doing when I get home and I’d love prayer for that.
Quick update on life right now:
I am back home in Albany spending time with my family before I leave on September 13th for the Philippines!
