Hello World!

My name is Theresa J I am currently a senior at Elmira College in Elmira, NY. I graduate in June with a degree in Psychology.
  A little about me….
I have a pretty ballin family. Mom, Dad, younger sister Catherine & dog Jaime. They are awesome and I love them a whole lot. I have lots of aunts, uncles and cousins that are pretty sweet too.
My Sister & I

I’m pretty witty and have a good sense of humor. It takes a lot to get me upset. I’m really laid back & easy to get along with. And I can laugh at myself.

The thing I will miss the most about college is living with my roommates. They are awesome people. I’ve probably learned the most from them. We have a ridiculous amount of fun together.

I go through phases with my music where I listen to the same song for like weeks straight. For a while it was Hillsong’s “You’ll Come” then it was DCB “How he loves us” now it’s a lot of Chris Tomlin stuff.

I’m all about bringing God’s Kingdom to Earth. “on Earth as it is in Heaven”

I love challenging people with the question ‘why do you believe that?’

I love to mix different types of cereal together

And I love bacon. A lot.

This past New Years my friends & I did something we always wanted to do: ring in the New Year in Times Square! It was pretty incredible, and I got some sweet shades:

I talk to the TV during movies. Because obviously me telling characters what to do will affect the outcome of the movie haha.

I am just as comfortable in hiking boots as I am in 6 inch stilettos.

I enjoy the small things in life.

Tea (black tea – none of that herbal stuff) and toast is my favorite and can solve any problem.

I enjoy learning.

I’m resourceful and can always figure out a solution to a problem.

Found God in high school youth group; got a hold of my faith in college and life has never been the same. I feel like God put ‘miracle grow’ on me these past 4 years.

I have an amazing church in Elmira and some incredible mentors that has seeded into my life these past 4 years and taught me so much.

I enjoy cooking, yet I always burn cookies. Always.

I hope to learn how to cook all sorts of different things on the WR.

I have a huge list of books that I want to read this summer. We’ll see how much actually gets read 😉 maybe I’ll bring some of the smaller ones with me on the race.
