Howdy all. Katherine here, on behalf of the red team.
For the past few days in San Pedro, our team has been praying together about what God has planned for us in Guatemala. We feel clearly led to spend the next three weeks in a lakeside village called San Pablo, working with a man named Pastor Antonio. Working with the local people, living with them and getting to know them has been on our hearts, and this is a perfect opportunity. Also, our team sports fanatic (SARAH!) is excited that the village has a basketball court… I sense sports ministry is in our future!

Health (Ashley is trying to recover from a bad bug, the rest of us want to stay healthy)
Communication (Antonio speaks Spanish and Tzutuhil, the dialect of the indigenous people. I will be translating from English to Spanish, and Antonio will then translate from Spanish to their dialect. Pray for clear communication!)
Team Planning (We are still in the process of thinking through team roles and travel plans. Pray that these things would run smoothly, that they would not be a source of conflict, and that God would show us how to make best use of our giftings, time, and money)
