Adios Amigos!!

Our time in Gautemala has come and gone.  It has truly been an AWESOME experience for us as a team and we feel VERY privileged to have been able to minister here.  God
has worked in our own lives, as well as the people´s lives we´ve been ministering to.  We joined up with the blue and yellow team in Panajachel and together we were able to build/rebuild three houses.  Stefan and Jacques both worked on different projects due to the great need for help.  Anita ministered with the other ladies amongst the children.
Because of Lana´s illness, she served in the kitchen and helped to cook and clean the house we were all living in.
Below is “Oupa” standing in front of his new house.  He and his family of twelve  lived underneath roof sheets for the past
 four months.
He helped us with a GREAT smile during the last few days of construction and it was a great blessing for us to see the great joy and help they gave us.  We really pray that God will continue to bless them in every area of their lives.

God really came through for us once again!  We had to go to Guatemala City to apply for new Mexican visas.  We should have paid about $200 for our team´s visas, but God intervened and we ended up getting them for free!  On top of that we saw a few beautiful sites.  On the right Jacques and Lana are standing in front of the President´s Palace which was built about 50 years ago.

We will be starting the next leg of the RACE tomorrow morning (27th of February) at 06:00 when we will be leaving by bus to Houston, and then flying on the 3rd to Los Angeles.  We are looking forward to the LOOOOOOONG bus ride 🙂 and will definately have time to do some strategic planning and team building in preparation for the China leg.

Please pray for a safe journey and that God will send more people along our way as we travel through the world.

Ons verlang baie na almal in ons mooi land en waardeer jul ondersteuning en gebede opreg!  Bokke Bo!

Liefde,
Stefan, Anita, Jacques en Lana
