For a long time, i have felt called to stay in Orlando and serve in this community. I love serving in Orlando and have been blessed to be in such a great community. In Orlando i have my family, my friends, an amazing church, a great ministry that I am involved in, my college, and I am comfertable here. This is 1st time that I have felt called to "GO" and I am really excited about that.
When I heard about the World Race through a friend, I was instantly interested. I looked into it, watched the videos, heard about how they showed others Jesus, and saw where some of the routes were going, and from there I was hooked. every time that I watch and show the video to others, i get excited, i begin to tear up, and it makes me want to get up and go. For the past couple of years I have been waiting for the 2012 routes to open up just so that I could send in my application, and it is finally here.
I think the reason that I am so excited to travel and do ministry with the World Race, is because I will no longer be in my comfort zone, I will no longer be in Orlando where everything is right in front of me, and everybody knows me. I will be in the middle of the world telling, and showing others about Jesus.
