Today was awesome. We got up this morning and ate another beautiful meal at Pastor Javiers house. They are leaving our mornings free for quiet time and team time, which is a huge help for us. About noon, we piled into our beautiful Orange again and headed to another colonia. This colonia needs a lot of prayer. They have a witch who lives at the beginning of the colonia and there is one Catholic church there, but most people dont go to church. We started by prayer-walking through the colonia and then we split into two groups. One group went door to door and invited people to come play soccer and hang out with the Americanos that night. The other group continued prayerwalking the street. For more on the door to door, check out Hughs blog. About 4 oclock we headed back to our casa (house) and ate and then crashed for a beautiful afternoon nap. About 6 we headed back to the colonia and brought face paint and went to play soccer with everyone. It was so much fun. We had a great time getting to know the families, playing with the children, and the guys played some awesome soccer. Kudos go out to Paul for scoring the first goal for his team!!! Pray for this colonia that the Lord would till the soil and plant good seeds.
