Monday…
Morning devotions, breakfast, praise and worship, and headed to
Brownsville to start our car search. We checked out a few dealerships and made contacts with local churches. Had a bit of luck, but not much; final details will be established Wednesday by 6 PM. Went to off site AIM base (aka Gateway) for a team dynamics meeting. Gateway is located in the rural parts of
Mexico and is a base were AIM can host hundreds of youth during the summer (or anytime of year).
Tuesday…
Chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast (thanks to Kristin and Ali), devotion time, church planting training, lunch, and then off to exercise what we had learned. We went into one of the villages that was located next to the dump. We went around passing out bread and ministering to the people there. Later that evening we lead a small group bible study time that consisted of praise and worship, a short word, and a time of prayer for the people there.
Tomorrow we are going back to
Brownsville to finish up the car buying details, so we can leave and go to
South Mexico on Sunday.
We will keep you updated on that.
Keep us in your prayers.
