sunday night i decided that i wanted to have a mcflurry. they are very cheap here and we are fortunate to have a mcdonalds. i thought about it all day. so paul, abner and me with to girls who are going to school here, larinda and joni all went to mcdonalds. we took orange because earlier i had to park her on a side street and we didnt want to leave her there all night. we went in, i got my wonderful m&m mcflurry and we all piled back into orange. but she didnt start. she just made a noice like a machine gun. not good. paul and abner got out and looked at it. then paul called his dad to see what it might be. they thought it was the starter…so paul was underneath the car hammering on something. but larinda called her dad and he said it was probably the battery. but we dont have jumper cables. abner called a friend and they said for us to go to the fire department and ask them if they would help. paul stayed with the girls and me and abner went to the fire department. when we got there he explained what was going on…but he had to ask the cheif because it really wasnt an emergency. but they came out a few min. later and said they would help. so abner and i got to ride in kind of a fire truck. a lot smaller than a normal one. we showed up and they jump started orange. today we walked to a mechanic and they charged the battery for us. please pray that that is all thet is wrong with her. we dont want her getting sick.
today after hanging out at the hospital with the kids the girls went to a free salsa class. so much fun. we all showed up and at first we were the only ones there, but after a few min. a lot more people showed up. we had a lot of fun and are going back again tomorrow. after we learned the basic steps with girls on one side and boys on the other the instructor made me get in the front and dance with him. not a big fan of that. but thats alright. we had to switch partners after every set really fast. it was so much fun.
random side note: megan fell today walking on the street. i laughed.
