The Blue team is back together one more time. Praise the Lord Almighty. Our time in the heart of Egypt was challenging, inspiring, fruitful, and we will never forget it.
While on this trip we were faced with a challenge above and beyond the present but the future of finishing this current race. We found out that each team was way low on their support raising and the money was about to run out.
Since the very beginning of this trip, the Blue team has stated that we were called to the World Race for a reason and we were going to finish the race together no matter what. Well, this is bigger than just the Blue team. The desires that we have on our hearts “Delight yourselves in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart” Proverbs 37:4, are that this is not a blue team thing anymore. This is a World Race thing.
We now feel that this is something bigger than focusing on our personal needs and it is time to focus on the group at large. We, 22 people, have been called to the World Race for a reason and we believe that it is time to suffer along side our brothers and sisters in a time of need.
We believe that the next three months are going to be the most fruitful months of this trip. We believe that the Lord is using this time of struggle to teach us a unity that the church is crying out for in this present stage.
We would like to ask you for your assistance in this time of need. We as a group are in need of nearly $16,000 dollars to fulfill the initial goal that we were looking for since the beginning. We know that that number sounds high but even the smallest amount will chip away at the rock.
