Yanui beach is a tropical paradise. Our whole team decided that we wanted to stay with the yellow and the lime team for the next three nights. Chad and Kimmy slept in their tents on the beach while Tauna and Sarah got a bungalow for the packs and themselves.

What an experience these three days were. We got a chance to wake up to the sound of waves, spend our quite time with the Lord in his beautiful creation, see the most amazing sunsets, watch lightning from afar, ride scooters for $2.50 a day, eat some wonderful Thai cuisine, snorkel in blue waters and participate in the world largest water fight.

We wish that we had pictures for the water fight but just to give you a picture of it; the Thai New Years is complete madness. If you even dare step out of your house you will be drenched in water, dye, shaving cream and baby powder. We decided as a group to head off on our scooters and it was one of the greatest experiences. Every street corner and business had pretty much shut down and was participating in the festivities. Hundreds of trucks loaded with gallons of water paraded the streets looking for that person to drench. It was so much fun and we highly recommend the Thai New Year for anyone.
The last day the girls wanted Chad to give a sermon on Good Friday before we headed out to our ministry. He gave a sermon on seeking God and Luke 10; the chapter that we were going to model for our ministry. It turned out that all three teams and the white team joined in and we had an amazing church service on the beach together praising our Father that we Love so much.
