HE WHO HAS EARS LET HIM HEAR

“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:16-19

Hello everyone of the world. We, the Blue team, have been called to bring you in on an experience that we will never forget. We have been called to go back in time to experience Paul’s journey through what we have all been called to, “The World Race Mission”.

Through this experience we have had to dig deep in the lives of two very important men. One being the Apostle Paul and the other being John, who was God inspired to write the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. We have been called to a race, not against each other, but against the clock to bring the Salvation of Jesus Christ.

Through this race we need to go back in time and tell you about what we think of each of the letters to the seven churches (Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia & Leodicea).

We have been told that it is not going well with the church in Pergamum and we have to take a letter to them. In doing this we have to pray for them and spend at least five hours viewing the ancient ruins at the city.

After Pergamum we have been called to the city of Smyrna where we have to read the letter that John wrote to the three million inhabitants. The minimum amount of time that we have to spend with them is two hours.

To end our journey we come to the city of Ephesus. We have been called to write a seven minute drama that will be titled “First Love”. Attending this drama must be at least ten people and we all have to be a part of it in some way.

Please allow us to take you deep within the context of the seven churches in the book of Revelations. We pray that the Lord would guide us all to see the deep truths that are present today in this world and what the Lord wants us to learn from each one of them.

A few things we noticed as we read through the letters to the churches were that;

Each church has an angel

The words are from Jesus, who is The Word, He praises them for the good, points out the bad, calls them to repent, tells them what to do & what they will receive if the do it.

Stars = Angels

Lamp stands = Churches

Over-comers are rewarded

Now to each church;

Church
of Ephesus

Jesus holds the seven stars in His right hand & walks among the seven lamp stands.

God knows their works, their deeds, and their perseverance.

He holds against them; they have left their “first love”. Who was their first love? We believe it was Jesus. Who or what took His place? Possibly works? Works are good but only if done for/in the love of Jesus, on their own, not enough.

He says repent or have your lamp stand removed.

Over-comers will have the right to eat from the tree of life which is in the Paradise of God.

Church
of Smyrna

Jesus is the First & the Last, who did & came to life again.

God knows they are going through tough times & trails. He knows they are poor.

He does not tell them it will get better, but in fact worse.

Over-comers who stand firm to the end will receive a crown.

Church
of Pergamum

Jesus has the sharp double edged sword.

God knows where they live, where Satan has his throne, yet they are faithful.

God has a few things against them-sins of eating food sacrificed to idols & committing sexual immorality.

Repent

Over-comers will be given hidden manna, a white stone with a new name written on it.

Church
of Thyatira

Jesus is the Son of God who’s eyes are a blazing fire & feet are burnished bronze.

God knows their deeds; love, faith, perseverance, service, good works continually.

God holds against them the sins of sexual immorality, eating food sacrificed to idols, witchcraft (Satan’s deep secrets).

Repent or suffer physical consequences.

Over-comers-doers of His will, will receive authority over the nations.

Church
of Sardis

Jesus who holds the seven Spirits of God & the seven stars.

God knows their deeds; the church looks alive but is dead-working in the flesh. Jesus says wake up come alive, strengthen what remains.

Repent or I will come while you sleep

The few who are without blemish will never have their names blotted out of the Lamb’s Book of Life. Jesus will acknowledge their names before God the Father & His angels.

Church
of Philadelphia

Jesus, Holy & True, He holds the key of David. What He opens no one shuts what He shuts no one opens.

God knows their deeds & gives them an open door. They are weak but have kept His word and have not denied His name.

If they endure patiently God will keep them from the coming trial, if they hold onto their crown.

Over-comers will be a pillar in the Temple, never again will they leave it, and they will be in God’s presence forever.

Laodicia

Jesus, the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Ruler of God’s creation.

God knows their deeds, they are neither hot nor cold, they are lukewarm, and therefore God is going to spit them out. They think they have it all, they think they are rich, have acquired wealth, do not need anything and think they have their ticket to heaven. But they are spiritually wretched, pitiful, poor, blind & naked. The true need is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Over-comers will sit with God on the throne – Daddy’s lap.
