CONTAINER VILLAGE

Container village is located about 2 miles from downtown Mostar. CV was started by the government back in 1996 after the war ended. Hundreds of families were left with nothing especially the gypsy people group and they needed assistance. The government put a number of storage containers outside of town that soon became homes. Over the years the gypsies have established a town and a residence for themselves known as container village.

Club Novi Most has many projects that they are working on but one of the main passions for a lot of the workers is Container village. They have developed relationships and have started a regular ministry within the town. Praise God, because we got a chance to share in Gods love to these people.

We brought games, jump ropes, face paint, soccer balls, Frisbees and the LOVE of Jesus Christ who lives within all of us. It was such a blessing to love on these children the way Jesus would have loved on them. The children are very poor, most illiterate; mal nourished and some smoking at age 10. We have opened our hearts to these children and pray that our Heavenly Father showers them with his LOVE.
