As the summer comes to an end I am able to look back at the amazing ride that has been the last year. At the end of May I returned home from the World Race and since then God has continued to do amazing things in my life.
I was able to spend my summer catching up with family and friends and was able to spend time at Training Camp for the next World Race squads going out on the field. A little over a month ago I moved to the suburbs of Atlanta Georgia where I have been working in a local Coffee shop and trying to figure out what the next steps for me will be.
God has been revealing a lot to me about my future and I firmly believe that a huge part of that will be overseas missions and pursuing social enterprise business in the states. In order to pursue this calling on my life I have made decision and have been accepted to join the Center for Global Action. CGA is an apprenticeship in part with Adventures in Missions, the same organization I did the World Race through. CGA is a development program that helps prepare and equip people for the calling God has placed on their life. As part of CGA I will be going through a discipleship program focused on Activism and Operating a Non-Profit organization.
Today I was accepted to be a part of the team of Apprentices starting on September 12th and yes I mean of 2014. To make this happen I need your help. As part of CGA I will be fundraising which will cover my training at the Adventures in Missions base as well as community housing with other Apprentices. I have to fundraise a total or $3900. Now I am not asking you for that amount and more than anything right now I need your support by praying for me through this time of transition. But I will ask you to consider “taking me to dinner.” To donate the amount of money you would spend taking me out to eat for an evening and celebrating what God is doing. You can even decide if we are pretending to go to Taco Bell or the Melting Pot.
There are a couple of ways that you can take me out to “Dinner” and help me toward my goals of fulfilling the calling God has placed on my life.
