I am sitting here comfortably in my favorite coffee shop, drinking a perfect Vanilla Americano and reading about far off lands that are so foreign to me. 11 different countries written down on a piece of paper stare back at me and I realize how much of a stranger I am to them. The language, the culture, even the political structure of these countries seem so overwhelming. I am working through a book "Operation World" that lists the needs and prayer opportunities for these nations. I am now stuck on Thailand. I am unable to comprehend the sheer brokenness of this country and my heart is breaking for the lost who are in such desperate need of a Savior. If the saying "Your home is where your heart is" then I am nearly 9000 miles away from home. I am nearly 7 months away from leaving on the World Race and these far away places already have my heart, they are my home, these people are my family and I cannot express the love I feel for those that I have never met.
