That’s right. After 11 months I am back on American soil. My journey home began on Monday morning at 2:30am (which would have been Sunday night here in America).
After:
a 30 minute walk
2 trains
1.5 hour flight from Vienna Austria to Frankfurt Germany
6 hour layover in Germany
8 hour flight from Germany to JFK
18 hour layover at JFK
1.5 hour flight from JFK to Washington Dulles
1 hour layover at Dulles
4 hour flight from Dulles to Albuquerque
20 hours in Albuquerque
3 hour bus ride to Farmington
10 minute drive from Farmington to Aztec
5 minute wait outside my house
SURPRISE DAD & MOM I’M HOME!!!
That’s right my family had no idea I was coming home. They thought I was traveling for an additional week after the race ended. Little did they know I would arrive at 8pm on Wednesday night (72 hours from when I left Europe)!

My mom says the Holy Spirit told her I was coming home so she was not quite as surprise as I thought she would have been but she was still VERY happy to see me.
