During the month of July I heard a story from a woman about
how she met her husband. Instead of saying what she wanted in a husband she
asked God to reveal to her what she
needed to change before she could get married. This began most of us asking God
for this list because most of my team desires to get married in the next few
years.
God has been revealing to me that in order for me to see my
future husband that I need to know what His love looks like first. Until I have
received His love I will not know what type of love I am supposed to receive
from a man. I also will not know what type of love to give a husband until I
have first given that love to Christ. Even if my husband was sitting in the
plane seat next to me at this moment (I’m writing this on a plane to Istanbul,
Turkey) I would not be able to see it because I would not know that the love he
is showing me is from God.
This love is not only for future spouses it is for everyone
I come into contact with. I cannot truly love anyone unless God has given me
His love for them. I can love them by my own means, but we all know there are
people out there that we do not naturally love, but through God we can love
them. God is giving me His heart for people through my obedience to learn about
His love and let me tell you it is exciting to see how much God loves people!
Since arriving in Villa Tecci Romania, God has been showing
me how much He loves the people here and how much He wants to set them free. It
is truly a blessing from God to be able to see His love for these people and
truly feel His love for them in my own body.
This is a journey that is just beginning. I know God has me
learning these things during this season of my life and I am so excited to see
what God does with it all by the end of the race.
