I often hear the statement that missionaries have it all together. They listen and hear God on a daily basis, otherwise why would they be out on the mission field? Their relationship with the Lord is amazing and their relationship with others is great.
While there might be missionaries out there that fit that description perfectly, I sadly am not one of them.

I clearly know that the Lord has called me to Haiti. I love this country and I love these people. Most of the time I want to be here. When I moved down here I knew that the Lord wanted me to spend time to just be in the country learning the language and culture of the people. When I voiced that to people, I knew it would be difficult but I had no idea just how difficult.
