This month we were apart from our guys. I like to call it the work-out month; working all sorts of muscles in our bodies!
In the mornings, we were able to hit the ground running by jogging on an absolutely beautiful trail around a mountain looking out to the sea. What a great time to get our hearts ready by praying for Ukraine and our ministry and also getting our blood pumping to wake us up for the day’s activities.
A view from where we ran.
After the workout, we helped around the compound (we are staying at a church that has a little campus). We raked many leaves and built our arm muscles carrying them. We got to work our back muscles by mopping and sweeping the dorm rooms (getting the building ready for summer camp). We also exercised our finger muscles by picking hundreds of little weeds.

After we refueled our bodies at lunch, we had a time of worship. God worked-out our heart muscles and refreshed our mind muscles.
Then it was time to work out our brains and plan English lessons. We each got to teach an English class every day with a partner.

On the weekends we went down to Yalta with our students and worked out our calf muscles with all the walking that we did. We got to experience some pretty fun things (parks, Diva Rock, Palaces, rollerblading, and sushi)

In the evenings we got our Gospel Girl on. We worked-out our relationships with each other and God. Thriven ladies studied 2 Corinthians this month, and worked-out our memorizing skills by learning Ephesians 1: 4-14. Then we read blogs and did challenges that were sent to us by a secret “Gospel Girl. The blogs were great to discuss and brought us sisters even closer together. The challenges kept our head in the game and remembering what truly is important.
Now off to use our muscles in Honduras!
“For whilebodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. The saying istrustworthy and deserving of full acceptance. For to this end we toil and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe.”
1 Timothy 4:8
